Location

The Power Station is 8 km away from Bhusawal City on National Highway No. 6 towards Nagpur and approx. 450 Km from Mumbai city.

After establishment of Maharashtra State in 1960, Govt. of Maharashtra has given priorities to Power Sector (Power Generation & Distribution), consequently, MSEB has implemented the Govt. policies for the development of Power Sector, and thereafter the locations were decided for New Power Plants on the basis of site survey.
    Bhusawal has given an exceptional privilege imperatively as it fulfills the basic requirements for commissioning of New Power Plant.
    Bhusawal is located near Vidarbha & Madhya Pradesh, which is well known for the coal mines and holding huge coal stock.
Bhusawal is near by Tapi River, is one of the main Rivers in Western Region, having capacity to provide sufficient water bed required for Power Plant.
    The transportation to Power Station is easily available as Bhusawal is well connected to all major cities of India by Rail & Road. Bhusawal is one of the important Railway Junctions on Central Railway and is well connected by National Highway No.6
